  • Repair San Gabriel River Bridge on southbound I-405 to northbound I-605 Connector
  • Repair damaged bridge barriers on Brea Boulevard Bridges over Brea Creek
  • Structural repairs that include sealing cracks, replacing unsound concrete, and repairing joint seals to maintain and extend the life of more than 25 bridges

ROAD SAFETYROAD SAFETY

  • Upgrade curb ramps and guardrails on Pacific Coast Highway
  • Replace roadways signs and improve 11 miles of SR 90 from Harbor Boulevard to Randolph Avenue near the City of Brea in Orange County
  • Install flashing lights, reflectors, rumble strips, and upgrade signage on 11 miles of Santiago Canyon Road
  • Upgrade traffic signals, sidewalks and drainage systems on Highway 1 from Crystal Heights Drive to First Street in Orange County

PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLIST SAFETYPEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLIST SAFETY

  • Reconstruct approximately 15 miles of sidewalk, curb and gutter, and Americans with Disability Act (ADA) access ramps in the City of Anaheim to improve pedestrian mobility
  • County-wide curb ramp and sidewalk upgrades and improvements to satisfy current ADA standards and requirements
  • Install bulb-outs at crossings adjacent to Davis Elementary, reconstruct and install ADA compliant sidewalk ramps and sections of sidewalk along the route to school
  • Widen existing sidewalks and construct ADA improvements on sidewalks and ramps, provide high visibility marked crosswalks, and add a signal-controlled pedestrian crossing along First Street

FILLING POTHOLES AND REPAVING ROADSFILLING POTHOLES AND REPAVING ROADS

  • Repave 205 miles of Highway 1 from the Los Angeles/Orange County line to the City of Redondo Beach, along Pacific Coast Highway, Topaz Street, and Dewey Street
  • 112 miles of pavement improvements and repairs to guardrails and signage on I-5
  • 36 miles of pavement improvements on Highway 1 in the cities of Laguna Beach and Newport Beach
  • 104 miles of pavement improvements on I-605 from the Los Angeles/Orange County line to Telegraph Rd
  • Resurface more than 5 miles of on-ramps and off-ramps along SR 91 near Buena Park
  • Pavement preservation project on 68 lane miles of streets in Yorba Linda
  • Pavement preservation project on 36 lane miles on Highway 1 from south of Vista Del Sol to Newport Coast Drive in the cities of Laguna Beach and Newport Beach
  • Resurface more than 46 miles of SR 57 through the cities of Orange, Anaheim, Placentia and Fullerton
  • Repave 18 local streets in the City of Orange
  • Resurface 34 streets in Seal Beach

TRAFFIC CONGESTION RELIEFTRAFFIC CONGESTION RELIEF

  • Upgrade traffic monitoring elements on I-5 at I-605; I-405 at I-105; I-10 at I-5/I-10 and I-605 at I-10
  • Install 311 traffi c management and intelligence elements on I-5, SR 57 and SR 91 at various locations within Orange County
  • Improve SR 57 & Lambert Road Interchange by reconstructing onramps and off-ramps ramps, lowering Lambert Road and widening northbound Lambert Road undercrossing bridge in the City of Brea
  • Add a lane in each direction in Laguna Niguel, Mission Viejo and Laguna Hills from SR 73 to Oso Parkway, and reconstruct interchanges at Avery Parkway to increase capacity and reduce congestion
  • Traffi c congestion relief efforts along the central Orange County corridor to include SR 55 from I-405 to I-5 but also extending out fi ve miles to the east, and west of the freeway

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATIONPUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

  • Deploy 40 zero-emission electric buses to double service levels on up to 8 routes and add 2 new routes to the Anaheim Transportation Network
  • Refurbish and upgrade 14 Metrolink rail cars, to improve safety, reliability and upgrade to current standards
  • Purchase 10 zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell buses for the Orange County Transportation Authority bus fleet
  • Deliver more reliable rail services throughout Southern California, and improve the frequency and performance of rail services to Moorpark, Santa Clarita, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Orange County
