  • Revamp two bridges on US 101 in Santa Barbara County
  • Repair bridges and upgrade bridge railing on the La Colina Road Undercrossing and the Primavera Road Undercrossing on SR 154 in the City of Santa Barbara

ROAD SAFETYROAD SAFETY

  • Upgrade guardrails, improve 43 miles and add rumble strips on SR 1 from the Las Cruces Interchange (US 101 Separation) to the south SR 246 Junction in the City of Lompoc
  • Widen shoulders, upgrade guardrails and pavement improvements on nearly 28 miles on US 101 from south of the Gaviota Gorge Tunnel to north of Nojoqui Creek Bridge in Santa Barbara County
  • Intersection improvements on Santa Monica Road and Via Real in Santa Barbara County
  • Install street lights, resurface road, restripe bike lane and drainage improvements on Sherwood Road in Paso Robles
  • Roadway striping and improve visibility of street signs throughout the City of Lompoc
  • Construct a grade separated interchange at the SR 46 and SR 41 junction in east San Luis Obispo County

  • Sidewalk improvements in Paso Robles, Pismo Beach, Guadalupe to increase pedestrian safety
  • Sidewalk improvements on Wilmar Avenue and Paso Robles Street near Oceano Elementary School in San Luis Obispo County
  • Safe pedestrian routes to schools in Oceano, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo
  • Construct nearly 3 miles of pedestrian and bike path along Las Positas and Modoc Roads in Santa Barbara County
  • Construct a bicycle and pedestrian link between the communities of Templeton and Atascadero

  • Resurface more than 8 miles of US 101 between Templeton and Paso Robles
  • Pavement preservation project on 9 miles on SR 246 from west of V Street to H Street and SR 1 from H Street to 12th Street in Santa Barbara County
  • Resurface nearly 5 miles of SR 41 and El Camino Real in Atascadero
  • Resurface Main Street, O’Donovan Road and Bennett Way in San Luis Obispo County

  • Construct 15 miles of HOV lanes on US 101 between the cities of Carpinteria and Santa Barbara
  • Replace traffic monitoring elements along US 101 north of SR 150 to north of Cathedral Oaks Road in Santa Barbara County
  • Replace traffic monitoring elements on US 101 from north of Santa Maria Way in Santa Barbara County to the Santa Barbara/San Luis Obispo County line
  • Replace traffic monitoring elements on US 101 from north of East Grand Avenue to Dinosaur Caves Park in San Luis Obispo County
  • Intersection improvements to alleviate traffic congestion on Santa Monica Road, Via Real and Santa Monica north bound on and off ramp from US 101

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATIONPUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

  • Increase Pacific Surfliner service to Santa Barbara from 5 to 6 round trips and to San Luis Obispo from 2 to 3 round trips with improved travel time, reliability and safety for both Metrolink and the Pacific Surfliner in the Los Angeles to San Luis Obispo corridor
  • Construct Goleta Train Depot, a multi-modal transit facility with improved bus transit service and shuttles from Santa Barbara Airport and the University of California Santa Barbara
  • Improvements for commuters between Ventura and Santa Barbara counties with improved bus services allowing for seamless use of both rail and transit to commute to employment centers in Goleta from Oxnard and Ventura with 5 zero-emission buses resulting in a travel time reduction of 45 minutes while providing a service extension to Oxnard
  • Replace 14 buses for the Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District
  • 5 replacement buses for City of Lompoc Transit system
  • Bus replacement for Morro Bay Transit
  • Replace electric trolley for San Luis Obispo Transit
  • Replace 2 buses for Santa Maria Area Transit (SMAT)
  • Construct a rail layover facility to support increased rail frequency to San Jose/Bay Area from San Luis Obispo
  • Replace a bus for the City of Guadalupe
  • Construct new Bus Maintenance Facility for San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority
